MS Fascination – The Rebirth of a Planet

The Earth is Bleeding

.

Listen! – The earth is crying.

Heard only by the silent rain.

Pay heed  to her voice!

Listen to her warning,

listen again and again.

.

We bury her wetlands awash with waste,

in pursuit of perfection, in merciless haste.

Furthermore we spill her blood on the seas,

beaches soiled by the dross of her land.

Sand sullied with illimitable glut.

In isolation, in desperation, cry her creatures

from miniature graves in the sand.

.

On the other hand,

the skies would seem not to notice.

While the wind whispers an ominous sound.

Pay heed to her voice, the earth is bleeding.

Evidence lies here on the ground.

.

Please my friend, be conscious of her sigh?

Please my friend have compassion for her cry?

We cannot ignore this mother nature,

for we too will decline, if senseless, we allow,

her indomitable spirit to die.
